What a wonderful afternoon of ‘Marist Magic’ as pupils, staff and parents all gathered in the sunshine for the formal opening of the new pavilion. This was followed by the much anticipated parent rounders match as 9 excited teams, from across the year groups, battled it out for the winners slot!

Karen Thompson, former long standing member of the sports department, kindly gave a welcome speech, cut the golden ribbon and declared this multi-use space ‘open’! The pavilion will be used for both Prep and Senior, to host match teas and events over the coming years.

Our 9 parent teams were then ready for some friendly competition, as they battled it out in a fun packed rounders match. The afternoon was finished off with burgers and family picnics; a fantastic way to end another busy week!
